    I like the blue.. I wanted to say, if you wanted to know what color to go with before painting & not sure how color will look, at craft store buy a pack of that color or as close as you can & tape it to 1or more area’s in kitchen & see how you like it.. $ store might have wrapping paper in blue could try that too. just an idea..

    I love red in any room, but the new color you described will really open up the space you have and be really soothing while you create!
