When I made my most recent batch of Pink Velvet Cupcakes, I just had to break out the zebra striped cupcake liners that have been waiting to be put to use. Hot pink, black and white – love it. And if you are using hot pink, black and white, it kind of just calls out for a bit of Hello Kitty…
I make up for my lack of cake decorating skills by using massive amounts of colorful sprinkles.
Pretty in pink. And zebra!
For those asking – pretty much all of my baking supplies – sprinkles, cupcake liners, sugar decorations come from ABC Cake Decorating.

My friend’s daugher would love these, Hello Kitty is her favorite.
These are adorable!!!! I just love them!
So girly! I love them!
These are just too cute. Any little girl would be happy to have these. My 10 year old would be so excited to find one in her lunch. Where did you find the zebra liners?
These are incredibly adorable. I will always have a place in my heart for anything Hello Kitty!
So cute! My five year old niece would go crazy over these!
I have some similar cupcake liners and was wondering what to do with them!
My daughter would LOVE these. Thanks for the great idea.
I make up for my decorating skills by calling my style “rustic”. I think it’s a good term for a big mess.
Those are so cute – plus they look yummy!
Oh my! These are so adorable! You have to submit them to our cupcake competition!! http://www.celebrations.com/cupcakecrown
How did you do the hello kitty face ? I’m so in love I’d really like to try this out of you wouldn’t mind.
Hi Megan – you can get them on Amazon… http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003M8GREK/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=anxioawaitado-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B003M8GREK Hope that helps!
What did you use for the black coloured sprinkles? Are those just cookie crumbs? My daughter’s first birthday is next weekend and we are doing a “diva” party zebra theme!
Katelyn, I use actual black sprinkles. Cookie crumbs would probably be a great substitute though.
