So are you looking for ideas as to what you can do with the free printable Valentine treat bag toppers I shared this week? I have a number of quick and easy ideas. My daughter’s school does not allow homemade treats, so I’m always looking for a way to make a pre-made treat a bit more fun. Here are some of the options I came up with…
Here’s how to put these together. First, print off the treat bag toppers of your choice. I print mine at home, on my run of the mill printer, onto printer paper. I’m sure they would be nice on cardstock, but for me this is just fine.
Gather your goodies – be creative, almost anything can fit in a sandwich bag! Next, cut out your treat bag toppers.
Fold your topper in half…
And tape or staple to your sandwich bag filled with goodies.
That’s all there is to it!
Here are some of the fun combos I used…
Chocolate covered mini pretzel rods. I found my pretzels at Trader Joe’s, but I have seen similar ones at a variety of grocery store. If you want to know how to make chocolate covered pretzels, you can check out my tutorial and video here.
Peeps + Graham Crackers + Chocolate = SweetHeart S’mores
Love that Peeps has a sugar free option.
Peppermint Joe Joe’s (because I hoarded them at Christmas)
You can really put anything into treat bags – from homemade treats to store bought, heck even things like crayons, stickers, or little party favors. Hope you enjoy the free printables! I’d love to hear what you put in your treat bags!
