Teacher Appreciation Ideas – Over 30 Teacher Gift Ideas – Bites From Other Blogs

I am a big fan of teachers.  BIG.  We have three teachers in my family – my brother and two sister in laws.  They are out there doing one of the hardest and most important jobs I can think of.    They give of themselves in ways that can’t even be counted and plant seeds that will grow through the next generation.   I truly think we need to appreciate teachers every single day and it’s great that we have a week devoted to that.   I thought it would be fun to check out some ideas that bakers and bloggers have come up with for Teacher Appreciation Week.

I’ll start with one of mine from last year…   This idea was not mine, it was the work of the amazing Kristan from Confessions Of A Cookbook Queen.  She shared it over at Living Locurto, and I had to make up some of my own.

I made up a free printable to go with these.  Feel free to download it right here.   I hope to have a new printable up for you in the next day or two, so stay tuned!

Now let’s check out what other bakers and bloggers are making to show their appreciation for all of those hard working teachers out there…

Let’s start with a darling free Teacher Appreciation Countdown Printable from Eighteen25 (love their printables!).

I found a big fake fruit apple and thought I could make it into some kind of neat teacher gift for my daughter’s teacher. I was thinking about taking a class picture to put on the apple and have each child sign his/her name on the apple. I am not really sure how this will look or if it will even work. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to make this apple into a really cool teacher gift? Thanks!
