I have such an awesome, completely perfect for this time of year, full of goodness giveaway for you today. Millstone Coffee is celebrating the journey from coffee bean to your coffee cup. And to celebrate they are giving one lucky Love From The Oven reader their own amazing “Bean To Cup Tasting Kit”.

I did say amazing, right??? Millstone wants to share with you the journey that goes into creating your perfect cup of coffee with their virtual Bean To Cup Journey. Their journey begins in the lush mountainside of an Arabica coffee estate, where coffee trees are grown and carefully cultivated. On those trees grow a fruit, the coffee cherry. I don’t think I knew that!
Once those beans are ripe, they are handpicked and it’s time to move on to roasting, which is an interesting process carried out by master roasters. Eventually beans are crafted into the perfect blends, such as Kona Blend, Foglifter, French Roast and Hazelnut Cream.
After being roasted, blended and tested for excellence, they are rushed to retailers so that we can enjoy the freshest coffee possible. Then it’s time for you to take over the journey and enjoy your perfect cup of coffee at home. Millstone has so many flavors, from Caramel Truffle to Organic Deep Peruvian Forest Blend, and they even have seasonal flavors for you to enjoy.
The Millstone Bean To Cup Tasting Kit has everything you need to start your day…
Millstone Coffee Bean to Cup Tasting Kit:
· Millstone K-Cup Portion Packs
· Millstone Pre-Pack Samples

· Crate and Barrel Coffee Mugs with Tray

Seriously, how great is that?

We love our Keurig coffee maker. I purchased it as a gift for my husband after our second daughter was born. He was always amazing about getting up with our kiddos in the middle of the night, and this was a great way to say thank you. Even a sleep deprived parent can enjoy a perfect cup of coffee in no time with a Keurig. Seriously LOVE it. I am so excited to be able to give one away in this fabulous kit.
But there is so much more in this kit – a ultra plush Pottery Barn Cozy Robe (think five star resort luxury on this one – it’s like wrapping yourself in a cloud), Crate and Barrel Coffee Mugs with Tray and Crate and Barrel Embossed Cream and Sugar Containers (that are super cute) and a gift card to redeem for a magazine subscription of your choice and Millstone K-Cup Portion Packs and Millstone Pre-Pack Samples.

I can’t wait for one of you to win this awesome kit!
And if you want the perfect breakfast to go with your coffee, I have a few suggestions for you…

So Sad
((( U only can buy ordinary coffee in germany. so unfair. I would really like to try another flavour
greetings from germany
Chocolate velvet sounds yummy!
I had no idea there was a coffee cherry! It’s very interesting that it turns red, I would’ve pictured it brown. I also didn’t realize a coffee bean is light colored and darkens as it roasts, although that really does make the most sense!
My favorite is the Hawaiian Blend. Yum!
French Vanilla!
Q: Leave a comment telling me what you learned on the Millstone Bean Journey
A: First, they’re very innovative with their virtual experience. I’d say something I learned that was surprising to me is that there’s a “coffee cherry” that was very interesting!
This is a beautiful giveaway! Could really use all of it
Holiday Peppermint!!!
I’m a breakfast blend coffee drinker! Yum. What a cool giveaway!
Chocolate velvet!
Hazelnut!
Can’t get enough French Vanilla
I like Colombian supremo coffee
I learned that Higher temperatures in the lower elevations can accelerate the drying process. Drying can take anywhere from 7 to 21 days, depending on the weather conditions.
My Keurig has died and time for a new one .
There’s a lot to growing and roasting coffee beans that I never knew about! Coffee is enjoyed by so many, its no wonder that there’s an art to it. I don’t drink coffee very often, so I guess the thing I found most interesting on the website was the breakdown of how coffees are tasted by professionals and the length of time that it really takes to train the palette. I think it’s time to start training mine
I haven’t tried it yet but French Vanilla sounds dreamy! Thanks for a great giveaway!
Hazelnut Cream is my favorite!
Interesting fact-Coffee beans are hand picked.
Mmmmm….. Hazelnut Cream!!
Pumpkin Spice is by far my favorite, followed a close second by Hazelnut!
I love French vanilla! Yum!
OK… this may make me sound stupid, but I didn’t know that coffee grew on trees. lol!!
It takes 7-21 days for the beans to dry.

I have been wanting one of these! I don’t have a favorite but I really want to try pumpkin spice
Absolutely love Vanilla but I can get bored with it very quickly so I switch between that and Carmel. Yumm!
My notes on the Millstone Journey:
I didn’t know the altitude determined the acidity. And all coffee is handpicked?!
14 minutes is pretty quick to roast 500 lb!
I didn’t know they mixed them like perfumes, but it makes sense.
The higher a bean grows, the more acidic it will be. I had no clue!

Never tried this coffee… Hope I win so I can!
Carmel and Pumpkin Spice are D’lish

The coffee cherry?? Whooda thunk? I didn’t realize that it took so long to process/dry the bean and prepare it for roasting. It’s amazing how something as simple as roasting and the length of time that the bean is roasted can change the flavor you’ll get from the bean.
I had no idea that the climate impacted acidity.
I would love to try the Chocolate Velvet, sounds yummy. I always drink vanilla coffee. From reading the Millstone Journey, I was shocked about how tedious the process is, from start to finish. Also, can’t believe they have to hand pick the fruit first, you figure a machine would be able to.
Medium roast is always great and peppermint.
The Holiday Peppermint looks yummy!!!!!
French Vanilla!!
I love the foglifter. It has a nice dark aroma and flavor.

that hazelnut is a lighter roast, which makes sense because I don’t like strong coffee.
