Getting Ready For Spring & Easter With Target
& A Target Gift Card Giveaway

Many of you have asked if I would share a post of my Target Easter finds, and I would love to.  But this post is even better because Target has given me a $75 Gift Card to give to one of you so that you can do a little Target shopping as well.  Yay!   So get ready to see some of the great finds on the shelves at Target, see the super cute Flower Pot Cupcake kit I picked up and enter to win a $75 Target Gift Card!

Disclosure: Target provided me with a Target gift card & is providing the gift card for this giveaway.
All opinions however are, as always, mine and mine alone.

Let’s start off with the super cute Flower Pot Cupcake kit I picked up.  I’ve always loved seeing flower pot cupcakes, but truth be told I’ve never wanted to actually bake cake in a clay pot, I have a natural talent for dropping things like clay pots, so baking with them, probably not a great idea for me.  This kit comes with adorable little silicone baking cups that look just like flower pots.  Perfect, no clay pots to break!

This kit comes with everything you need to whip up some super cute cupcakes – the cake mix, frosting mix and sprinkles.  Because I needed to make another batch of cupcakes, I ended up using a box cake mix for mine, but you can go either way.

There are fill lines marked inside the flower pot cups, showing you exactly how much cake batter you need.  Love that.  They baked up perfectly.

They show some other ideas on the box, I love the idea of filling these with crispy treats or ice cream, how fun!   You can reuse these little silicone flower pots, which I certainly plan to do.

After baking I simply added some frosting and the sprinkles included in the kit – voila!  I think they turned out pretty darn close to what the kit shows.

So sweet and perfect for spring.  This would be a fun project with the kids, letting them get creative.  It would even be fun to do an Oreo topping and that whole dirt and gummy worms look.

Okay, now time to do some shopping.  Here are some of the fun spring and Easter goodies I’ve found at my Target…
