It’s not exactly a secret that I love sprinkles. Pretty, colorful, sweet little sprinkles.
I’ve talked quite a bit about sprinkles here on the blog, and I thought I’d put a lot of my sprinkles posts all into one post, sort of a guide to sprinkles. I don’t claim to be a sprinkle expert, but I certainly love them and spend lots of time with them! So if you are looking for information on sprinkles, this is your post!
All About Sprinkles
Curious about the different types of sprinkles?Ā This post is for you! Learn about the different kinds of sprinkles.
Curious where you can find all those different sprinkles? Here’s a guide to where you can find them both in store and online.
One of my favorite places to buy sprinkles happens to be right here in Phoenix (but they take online orders, too!). ABC Cake Decorating Supplies. They have a wall full of sprinkles!
Looking for ways to store your sprinkles? There are so many options! I have many of my sprinkles out on display in my kitchen, they are so fun and colorful and they flat out make me happy, so if you have a spot to store them where you can see them, I say go for it! This post has some super ideas for doing that.
So now that you know the different kinds of sprinkles, you have figured out where to buy them and ways to store them, let’s look for ways to put them to good use. This is where the sky is really the limit. I joke, but in all serious, I am not a great cake decorator. I’m not handy with the decorating bags and tips. At all. Sprinkles are my decorating saving grace. They make everything look so pretty! And you can use the same techniques over and over, simply change out your sprinkles colors to fit your holidays or themes. Christmas Pretzels can easily become Fourth of July Pretzels and Valentine’s Cake Pops become Birthday Cake Pops all by switching out what sprinkles you use.
You can add sprinkles to your cake mixes and even cinnamon roll dough to create your own funfetti versions. So here are just a few of the ways you can use your sprinkles…
Sprinkle Cinnamon Rolls (we always have these for my daughter’s birthday breakfast).
You can whip up some really fun and impressive cakes by simply covering them in sprinkles! Let me show you…
One of the only things more fun than a milkshake in a mason jar is one with sprinkles around the rim of the jar.
Pretzels, chocolate and sprinkles are an awesome combo in my book. I make chocolate covered pretzels all the time, simply changing out the colors of my sprinkles and sometimes the colors of my chocolate coating. See how I make them in this video.
Valentine Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Sprinkle covered cookie pops are super easy and no bake. Love it!
Rice Krispies Treats are another fun thing to dip in chocolate and cover in sprinkles!
Marshmallows are fun too! Valentine Marshmallow Pops.
I seriously adore these tiny micro heart sprinkles!
Or you can skip the cake and just make Frosting Pops!
I could keep going on forever. And ever. And if you want to keep taking in the sprinkle love, check out some of these great posts from other bloggers.

Oh goodness! The pictures in this post make me happy! I too love sprinkles and have been known to stock up on unusual and colorful ones when I find them. I live in Paris where sprinkles are very hard to come by! Looking at that wall at ABC Cake has me drooling! If only I had an hour to shop there…. ! š

Sugar Daze – Yes, that wall of sprinkles is amazing. But I bet you have some amazing sites (and bakeries!) in Paris that give it a run for it’s money in a whole other way!

Boy! You sure make using sprinkles a lot of fun! I’ll have to remember these ideas on how and when to use sprinkles for my next baking project. Also, thanks for the info on the ABC cake decorating store. So often I only look at Walmart and their sprinkle selection isn’t the greatest so having a new alternative will be a lot of fun!
