Buttery club crackers are topped with thick cut bacon, and a honeyed brown sugar topping that’s broiled to perfection in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 48 club crackers
  • 12 slices thick cut bacon
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Kinder’s "The Blend" - Salt, Pepper & Garlic Rub
  • 10 slices provolone cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 375°F. Grab an oven safe wire rack and a large baking sheet and place the wire rack on top of the baking sheet. Doing this will allow the bacon grease to drip off, while preventing the crackers from becoming soggy.
  • Lay out your bacon onto a cutting board, and cut each piece into 4 even slices.
  • Place the club crackers evenly on the wire rack. Leave about 1 inch of space in between each cracker.
  • Place a slice of bacon on top of each cracker.
  • Grab a small mixing bowl. Add the brown sugar and the salt, pepper and garlic rub to the bowl and mix to combine.
  • Sprinkle even amounts of the brown sugar topping on top of each bacon covered cracker. Make sure the bacon is evenly coated.
  • Bake these in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp, yet tender, and the top is caramelized. Make sure to watch these carefully to ensure they don’t burn. Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Storage - Store the leftover crackers  in an airtight container or baggie in the fridge for 3-4 days. You can reheat these, but they taste fine when chilled or at room temperature.
