Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies

Ingredients

Brownies

  • 1 Pillsbury Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix 13x9 Family Size
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup coffee cooled
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips

Filling

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Set oven to 350 degrees for metal or glass pan, or 325 degrees for dark coated pan. Spray an 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch pan with non stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Combine brownie mix, oil, coffee and eggs in large bowl, stir 50 strokes with a spoon. Fold in chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Spread into prepared pan.
  • In a separate bowl combine melted butter, powdered sugar, peanut butter, salt and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined and smooth. Pour or spoon onto brownie batter in pan. If desired swirl with a knife of swirled effect.
  • For a 9x9 pan, bake for 30-35 minutes or for an 8x8 pan, 45-50 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool prior to serving. Store loosely covered.
