Easy Mac and Cheese

A delicious recipe for homemade easy macaroni and cheese.

– Elbow Macaroni – Butter – Cream Cheese – All-Purpose Flour – Milk – Shredded Cheese – Salt – Black Pepper – Hot Sauce or Mustard Powder



Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook elbow macaroni in boiling water, stirring occasionally, and cooking according to package directions.

Meanwhile in a separate pan, melt butter in a medium to large sauce pan over medium heat; stir in cream cheese until well combined. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper until smooth, about 5 minutes.

Slowly pour milk into pan while stirring until mixture is smooth and starting to gently boil, about 3-5 minutes. Add cheese to mixture and stir until cheese is melted and well combined.

Pour cheese sauce over drained macaroni and stir gently until cheese sauce is well combined with pasta. Serve immediately.
