Homemade Pretzels

Homemade Pretzels are one of the ultimate comfort foods. It’s hard to beat a fresh and warm soft pretzel.

Chewy on the outside, pillowy on the inside, with just the right amount of salt.

–Milk –Yeast –Brown sugar –Salt –Salted butter –All-purpose flour –Baking soda –Water –Sea salt

INGREDIENTS

STEP 1

In a large mixing bowl, mix the warm milk, and yeast.  Allow this to sit for a few minutes.

STEP 2

Gradually add flour to this mixture, 1 cup at a time.

STEP 3

Add flour until the dough is no longer sticky. Then turn it out onto a floured surface and knead it for 5 minutes.

STEP 4

Shape the dough into a ball and place it into a lightly greased bowl.
