Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray donut pan with nonstick cooking spray.

In a medium-sized microwavable bowl, melt butter 30 seconds at a time until fully melted. Remove from microwave and pour in apple cider.

In a large bowl, mix together flour,baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add sugar, honey, sour cream and beaten egg to the melted butter mixture and stir until combined.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
