Hi, I’m Christi! I’m the author, photographer, baker and cook behind Love From The Oven. I created this site in 2010 to share quick, easy and delicious recipes. Sixteen years later I’m thrilled to still be doing just that!
Since creating Love From The Oven in 2010, I’ve shared my recipes with millions of people each year, had them featured in dozens of national publications, made multiple television appearances, and published three cookbooks.

Get To Know Christi
I’m a mom to two amazing daughters and wife to an incredible husband. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, where my family goes back four generations. While we are desert dwellers, we spend as much time as possible in pines of the White Mountains in Northeastern Arizona.

We have three pets who pretty much run the show – a mixed breed dog named Loki and a tuxedo cat named Max, who both were found through local rescues. Thanks to the cat distribution system we recently added a third pet, a tabby cat named Leo, who found us.

Prior to starting Love From The Oven, I ran my own jewelry company called Sentimental Silver. My speciality was creating personalized jewelry using recycled silver clay. I was fortunate to receive a generous amount of press coverage and had a number of celebrity clients. Every now and then I’ll be out and about and still see people wearing pieces I made, which always makes me smile.

Random things I love: rainy days, trees, ranch dressing, well worn pajamas, vintage Marc Jacobs handbags, Pacific Grove, CA, biscuits and gravy, almost any random dog I see, psychological thrillers, a la mode desserts, documentaries, Taylor Swift and 80s hair bands (it’s quite the combo), greeting cards, hunting for sea glass, yellow smiley faces, french fries, holiday decorations, hiking in the pines but not the desert, musical theatre, fondue with my family every New Year’s Eve, genealogy research and dark chocolate.
I’m a passionate advocate for understanding, acceptance and celebration of neurodivergent individuals as well as the LGBTQ community, and a big fan of scientific and medical research, especially with a focus on blood cancers and food allergies – conditions very near and dear to my heart.
