If you haven’t hard boiled eggs in an air fryer, you are going to love how quick and easy this is. We love to keep hard boiled eggs on hand. They are a great snack packed full of protein, make delicious egg salad or tuna salad sandwiches, and I love to use them in my Old Fashioned Macaroni Salad.

How To Make Hard Boiled Eggs In An Air Fryer

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry your eggs.
  2. Place the eggs in a single layer in the bottom of your air fryer.
  3. Cook at 265 degrees for about 16 minutes.
  4. Either use tongs, or let sit and cool in the air fryer for a minute or two (they’ll be HOT to the touch!) to remove the eggs from the air fryer. Let cool down or transfer to in an ice bath, to make for easier peeling.

Different air fryers have different power levels. Your air fryer may hold more or less eggs, and may take more or less time to cook.

Recipe Tips

Easy Peel Hard Boiled Eggs

Wondering how to peel hard boiled eggs – easily? I recommend placing eggs in an ice bath once they are cool enough to transfer from the air fryer to a bowl of ice water. Store bought eggs are almost always easier to peel than farm fresh eggs.

How long are hard boiled eggs good for?

Hard boiled eggs stay fresh for about one week when kept in the refrigerator.

  1. I keep my peeled HB eggs in a mason jar and cover them with cold water. They will stay fresh in the fridge for at least a week, sometimes even longer. Just change the water daily.

Hard boiled eggs stay fresh for a lot longer than you posted here.

  3. Dumb question. Is this ok to do with eggs right out of the fridge or should I let the eggs sit out a little bit to take the chill off? Thank you!
