Wow, another year is coming to a close. It’s crazy how fast time flies and that 2013 is on it’s way out and 2014 is knocking on the door. It’s time to find some fun New Year’s Eve ideas to celebrate the end of one year and the start of another.
We haven’t gone out for New Year’s Eve in many years, probably because I’m usually knee deep in trying to organize my house life. You know things like clearing out the clutter, gathering up clothing and toys to donate, hanging up calendars, color coding things, buying label makers and white board markers, and coming up with grand ideas on how I’m going to finally get myself organized. My husband and girls run for cover and hold tight to their most valued possessions, and my neighbors hide their garbage cans out of fear that I’ll start eying theirs as soon as mine are filled. This typically occurs from about December 29th-January 2nd. And then I’m back to my normal, completely and totally disorganized self.
So I’m always looking for fun New Year’s Eve ideas for celebrating at home, a way for my family to enjoy New Year’s Eve (and a little break from mama’s crazy organizational plans). I thought I would share some of the fun New Year’s Eve ideas I’ve been seeing around the web and on Pinterest. Let’s see some of the fun family friendly ways that bloggers around the web are ringing in the new year with desserts, crafts and fun activities.
