Ingredients

  • Milk – Whole or 2% milk is preferable, as it will give your hot chocolate a nice creamy consistency. You are welcome to use a non-dairy milk as well, just try to go with an unsweetened variety.
  • Chocolate syrup – Personally I like Hershey’s Special Dark Chocolate Syrup, but any chocolate syrup will work.
  • Starlight peppermint candies – The candies are crushed and give the cocoa a wonderful peppermint flavor. You could also crush candy canes if desired.
