  1. Christi, the banana cream pie bars with the Sir Bananas Bananamilk product, I can’t get this milk here in my city, the links for the company & the product finder, in your recipe are no longer working. Question can this sir banana milk be substituted with plain milk? Or anything else?

    1. Hi Michele, this post is from about 6 years ago, so I’m not sure if that product even still exists. I’ve only made the recipe as shared here, but I can’t see why there would be any issue with substituting the banana milk with any other type of milk. I do recall the banana milk being on the thicker side, so I just would avoid using something like skim milk.

  2. I have a question about the recipe? In the ingredients it calls for an 8 oz container of whipped topping, however in the instructions on #4 it says “In a large bowl whip the heavy cream and slowly add in powdered sugar.” Just curious which is correct and if using heavy cream and powdered sugar, how much are we to use.

    Thank you!

    1. Sherry, sorry, it was a typo. I decided we had two many different bowls going on and decided to just go with whipped topping for ease. Hope that helps!

  3. Maybe I missed something in the ingredient list?? No. 4 in the instructions says “In a large bowl whip the heavy cream and slowly add in powdered sugar.” Would love to try this, but how much heavy cream and how much powdered sugar? Thanks so much.
