If you are looking for a quick and easy Valentine treat, this Valentine Bark is perfect. It’s fun, festive and you can whip it up in no time at all. I love to make different candy barks for holidays and birthdays, they are so easy you don’t even have to measure anything!

Valentine Bark

To spice up this Valentine Bark I added cookies, sprinkles and red hot candies. More crunch, more flavor, more fun.

Check out how easy this is to make. This is a video of me making my St. Patrick’s Day Bark. While the colors are different, the process is exactly the same, so you can get an idea of just how easy it is to make this Valentine Bark.

So fun! I simply use candy coating melts, sandwich cookies, Brach’s Cinnamon Imperials and lots of sprinkles.

You really don’t need to measure the amounts of ingredients you use – I usually use two packages of almond bark or candy melts, and then just a few handfuls of toppings. A little or a lot, it’s totally your call.

Ingredients

  • 1 12-16 oz package white or vanilla candy coating or almond bark (Any size from 12-16 oz is fine, you can even use more or less)
  • 1 12-16 oz package pink or red coating melts
  • 1/4-1/2 cup Valentine themed sprinkles (approximately, more or less are fine)
  • 1 cup chopped cookies (approximately, more or less is fine)
  • 1/4 cup Brach's Cinnamon Imperials

Instructions

  • To make your bark, start by melting your candy coating melts in two separate bowls according to the directions on the packages.
  • Once melted, place large spoonfuls of melted candy coating onto a baking sheet that has been lined with wax paper or a silicone baking mat. Use all of the candy coating, creating almost a patchwork of candy coating colors.
  • Using a knife, gently swirl all of the melted candy coating together. You do not want to over mix or the candy coating, but instead gently swirl the knife throughout the candy coating.
  • Immediately place cookie pieces into candy coating, giving them a gentle push to embed them into the candy coating.
  • Sprinkle Brach's Cinnamon Imperials and sprinkles over candy coating.
  • Chill for at least two hours (if pressed for time you can get away with 30 minutes) then break apart by hand or with a knife. Pieces can be large or small, whatever works for your needs.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
